Good morning everyone! Lots of ice and snow yesterday caused massive congestion and accidents along the roadways across the region. Now it is Friday, and things look a bit brighter for your Friday and into the weekend. Expect partly sunny skies today. Sunnier skies and temperatures warming above freezing will cause ice and snow to melt across the region. Take caution this morning however as road temperatures are right at 32 degrees. A few spots still may be slick across the area.
As we head into the weekend, temperatures will rise into the middle 40’s. We will see plenty of sunshine for Saturday. Temperatures, however, will continue to be below average for this time of year. A few clouds may join us for Sunday.
A slight chance of an isolated shower is possible Monday, but most of us will remain dry. Expect clouds to be off and on to begin your work week as a cold front pushes through the region. This cold front may not bring us much in the way of precipitation, but it will drop our temperatures down for the middle to late half of the week.
Tuesday morning expects lows to be in the 20’s and 30’s with highs only reaching the lower 40’s. This trend will continue into Wednesday, but with sunnier skies. Thanksgiving day we will start cold with lows in the mid to upper 20’s. However, temperatures will warm up into the middle to high 40’s.
