Weather Forecasts

Overnight Wednesday 17 April 2019

Thursday we may see a break or two in the clouds with an isolated thundershower during the afternoon with temperatures rebounding back into the 70’s if not 80’s!  A higher chance of storms come Friday.

Day Planner for Thursday 18 April 2019

Friday, showers will be likely with a chance of storms.  A few storms could be on the strong to severe side.  These thunderstorms will mainly occur in the southern point of our region with the majority of the storms Friday occurring south of our viewing area.  It will be something to watch none the less.  High gusty winds at times and a good inch of rain possible.  Heavy rains and gusty winds will be our main threat along with a rumble of thunder and a flash of lightning.

Severe Weather for Friday 19 April 2019

Rain showers will continue into Saturday morning at least. A few showers west of the Blue Ridge may linger around for a bit longer.  We look to see mainly cloudy skies with a few breaks on Saturday.  The ground may be slightly wet due to the rain over the weekend, so be sure the kids have an extra pair of clothes for those Easter egg hunts!  You may want to change them out of their Sunday best before they start playing in the mud while hunting those Easter eggs.

Sunday looks to be an okay day.  We may have a leftover shower during Sunday’s sunrise service, but other than that Easter should be at least partly cloudy to partly sunny.  Temperatures at least will be in the 60’s, so that is a plus!

We hope to see sunnier skies Monday, but there is some suggestion of a chance of rain Monday and Tuesday.  We are going to have to keep an eye on that idea.  We may see a bit of sun on Monday with a chance of rain.  Another isolated chance of rain is Tuesday.  Hopefully these showers Monday and Tuesday will be hit or miss with us seeing sunny skies as temperatures rebound into the 70’s!
