Good evening everyone! I hope you all had a great Saturday. As we go into Sunday, clouds will clear overnight with lows falling into the 20’s and 30’s around the region. Make sure you have a jacket before you head out tomorrow morning!
We will start out the week with below average temperatures as a mass of cold Arctic air plunges into the region. This colder air could lead to a few snowflakes or light rain on Monday as we head back to work. However, on Tuesday the cold air slowly retreated north enough for some ole shower. Precipitation this week will be below a quarter of an inch.
Wednesday we clear out and warm up as a ridge of high pressure slowly makes its way into the region, but that will not stop a short wave of energy to possibly give us a shower or two on Thursday as highs reach up into the 60’s.
The warm-up continues into Friday and Saturday. We will see temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s by the end of the week, but clouds will be on the increase, which may sign for a cold front to come into the region next Sunday or Monday, which may knock our temperatures down once again.
We still have a few more weeks of this trend of temperatures as we go into the middle to late April. Hopefully, the warmth will come and stay as we go into May. The planting season will be here before you know it!
