Adam’s Local Forecast for 5.15.19

Weather Forecasts

Good Tuesday evening, everyone! Beyond a few very isolated showers that may try to crash the party, much of the evening and the overnight time frames should remain generally dry and progressively clearer. These clearer skies, along with a lighter breeze, will allow temperatures to fall into the 40s once again. Skies will remain mostly clear as we go into the day on Wednesday, which will set the stage for a rather nice middle of the week. More seasonable temperatures will also return, with highs returning to the upper 60s to low 70s. While the day is dry, cloud cover increases ahead of a quick frontal boundary that will pass through the region and send some showers our way into Thursday morning.

Another frontal boundary will dive southward through PA and south of the Mason-Dixon Line, which will also send a few showers our way. With that said, Friday is not expected to be a wash-out. Saturday also features a chance for some rain, but the temperature forecast is rather tricky and depends on where the front sets up shop. Additional showers are possible on Sunday as this front remains nearby and even lifts back north a little bit. More showers and a few storms are possible early next week as another cold front moves closer to the area.

Here’s a look at your extended forecast:

Tonight: Becoming mostly clear and cool. Lows: 43-48. Northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny at first, then increasing cloudiness in the evening with a chance of overnight rain. Highs: 68-73. Northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Morning scattered showers are possible, then becoming partly to mostly sunny. Highs in the low 70s.

Friday: Partly cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs in the mid 70s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a chance of a few showers. Highs in the low to mid 70s.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with a chance of rain and a few storms. Highs in the low 80s.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs in the low 80s.

Tuesday: A mix of sun and clouds with rain possible. Highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Have a great evening!
