Staying dry and warming up in Northern Virginia

Nova Forecast

Another starry sky

HAGERSTOWN, MD. (WDVM) — AT THE SURFACE, HIGH PRESSURE HAS GIVEN US A SUNNY DAY, AND OVERNIGHT, UNDER CLEAR SKIES, LOW TEMPERATURES WILL BE A BIT MILDER GIVEN A SOUTH WIND. THURSDAY, THE THERMOMETER CLIMBS A LITTLE HIGHER, SO ANOTHER MILD DAY IS IN STORE FOR THE AREA WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES INCHING TOWARD THE 70-DEGREE MARK. ON FRIDAY, A FRONT APPROACHES THE REGION, BUT EVENTUALLY STAYS NORTH OF THE AREA, GIVING US PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW 70S WHICH IS SOME 8 TO 12 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND, THE TRANQUIL WEATHER WILL CONTINUE AND IT’S NOT UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK THAT HIGH PRESSURE MOVES FAR ENOUGH OFF OUR COAST, WHICH WILL SEE INCREASED CLOUD COVER ALONG WITH SOME SHOWERS. AFTERNOON TEMPS THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND INTO NEXT WEEK APPEAR TO RANGE IN THE MID TO UPPER 60S TO LOWER 70S AND OVERNIGHT IN THE 40S AND 50S.

TONIGHT: CLEAR AND CHILLY. LOWS RANGE FROM 38-51 DEGREES.

THURSDAY: PARTLY CLOUDY AND MILDER. HIGHS IN THE MID AND UPPER 60S.

FRIDAY-SUNDAY: SUNNY TO MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS AROUND 70 DEGREES.

MONDAY-TUESDAY: PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGHS IN THE LOWER 70S.

WEDNESDAY: MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH ISOLATED SHOWERS. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 60S.

HAVE A GREAT REST OF YOUR WEEK!
