Good evening, and Thank Goodness It’s Friday! While much of the morning was dry and warm, we do run the risk for some unsettled weather later this evening. Some scattered showers and thunderstorms are both possible as we go into the first part of the night, with a few of these cells containing gusty winds and even the chance for some small hail. If you have any outdoor plans, be sure to keep an eye on the skies. This front will stall nearby on Saturday, keeping the chance for some showers and storms in place through the afternoon and evening. Highs will hold steady in the upper 70s to low 80s in a similar manner to Friday.
This front will lift to the north as a warm front, opening the door for some warmer air to come into the picture. With this extra warmth and moisture in place, we’ll run yet another chance for some pop-up showers and thunderstorms. A new cold front will pass through the region on Monday, keeping warm air and showers in place for the start of next week. Tuesday features cooler and drier weather that tries to stay in place for much of next week. The once exception comes on Wednesday, as we do run the risk for some showers and a storm or two along the way. After this, we’ll try to stay dry for the end of the week.
