Good morning everyone, happy Thursday! We will see another day of sunny skies with pleasant conditions around the region. Get out and enjoy it because these sunny summer days are drifting away as showers and storms come for the weekend and into next week.
Friday will be pleasant being a degree or two warmer, but clouds will start to move into the region as we head into Friday night into Saturday. Saturday we will have increased humidity, lower temperatures, and it will not feel as pleasant.
Showers and storms will come as we go into the weekend bring us another good dose of rainfall Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The weekend will not be a complete loss, but you will need to keep an eye on the skies, especially if you have outdoor plans.
Showers will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday next week. All-in-all we will see about 1-3 inches of rain over those five days or so with some areas seeing a bit more in heavier rain bands. Get ready for some warm steamy days across the region, and make sure to brush off the rain gear and get it ready for the weekend and next week.
Hopefully, this will help regulate temperatures to stay around average, but as with everything we will have to wait and see what mother nature tries to do.
