Happy Wednesday, everyone! The morning will start on a clear but cooler note, especially compared to the previous two mornings. High pressure will keep the region dry and pleasant from start to finish, so be sure to enjoy the day if you can! With that said, high temperatures will be 15 to 20 degrees cooler than Monday and/or Tuesday, so it will feel a lot cooler than it actually is. We’ll have a cool night on the way tonight, though I hesitate to call it “cold”. Thursday should be another nice day from start to finish, but cloud cover will slowly begin to increase later in the day. Highs remain near or just above average for this time of year.
A cold front will approach the region on Friday, which will help kick the temperature back into the upper 60s and low 70s. More importantly, it’ll act as a focal point for showers and thunderstorms later in the afternoon and evening. A few of these storms may pack an extra punch, so be sure to keep an eye out for future updates. A few showers may linger into early Saturday morning, but much of the first half of the weekend is looking good. By Sunday, however, more rain is on the way. This rain will linger into Monday before tapering off by Tuesday.
Here’s a look at your extended forecast:

Have a great day!
