A beautiful couple of October days coming up

A starry sky this evening

Wednesday is looking to set up as being one of the nicest days this week. Enjoy!

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (WDVM) — GOOD TUESDAY! A COLD FRONT HAS PASSED EAST OF OUR AREA, ALLOWING FOR HIGH PRESSURE TO MOVE IN TONIGHT. EXPECT MAINLY CLEAR AND COOL CONDITIONS THIS EVENING AS THE HIGH BUILDS OVERHEAD. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 30S IN THE MOUNTAIN VALLEYS, TO THE LOW 50S IN D.C. SUNNY TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES WILL BE WITH US TOMORROW AND INTO MOST OF THURSDAY. HEADING INTO THURSDAY NIGHT; HOWEVER; INCREASING CLOUD COVER AND CHANCES FOR A FEW LIGHT SHOWERS OVERNIGHT, WILL ONCE AGAIN LOOK TO MAKE IT BACK TO THE AREA. A COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH THE REGION ON FRIDAY BRINGING TO THE AREA, POSSIBLY UP TO A HALF INCH OF RAIN, FOLLOWED BY DECIDEDLY COOLER AIR IN ITS WAKE. FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY IT ALSO IS FORECAST TO BE BREEZY AT TIMES, HELPING TO KEEP THE AREA FEELING CHILLY THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND INTO THE NIGHT.

SATURDAY MORNING, PARTICULARLY IN MOUNTAIN AND SHELTERED VALLEY REGIONS, WIDESPREAD LOWS IN THE 30S ARE LIKELY. IN GENERAL, THE WEEKEND IS DRY, BUT COOL AS TEMPERATURES RUN SOME 5 TO 15 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR MID-OCTOBER. SATURDAY NIGHT, ONCE AGAIN, EXPECT 30 DEGREE TEMPERATURES THROUGHOUT THE SUBURBS AND BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND ASSOCIATED SHELTERED VALLEYS. AS A RESULT, PATCHY AREAS OF FROST ARE POSSIBLE GIVEN THE EXPECTED PLUMMET OF TEMPERATURES.

Get ready for a weekend chill-down! There may be some frost on the pumpkin and even a few snowflakes in the highest elevations Friday night!

TONIGHT: BECOMING CLEAR. LOWS RANGE FROM 42-55.

WEDNESDAY: SUNNY. HIGHS AROUND 70 DEGREES.

THURSDAY: PARTLY CLOUDY AND MILD. INCREASING CLOUDS LATE. HIGHS IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S.

FRIDAY: PERIODS OF RAIN AND TURNING COLDER. HIGHS AROUND 60 DEGREES.

SATURDAY: MOSTLY SUNNY AND CHILLY HIGHS IN THE MID TO UPPER 50S.

SUNDAY: PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGHS IN THE LOW 60S.

MONDAY-TUESDAY: VARIABLY CLOUDY. HIGHS IN THE MID TO UPPER 60S.

HAVE A GREAT REST OF OUR DAY!
