NHL considering two Canadian cities to host return due to recent U.S. outbreaks of COVID-19

(WDVM) — The National Hockey League is now considering it’s return to play to be completely outside of the United States.

The original plan was to have one U.S city and one Canadian city to each host a conference playoff. Las Vegas was widely considered the favorite to host out of the American locations, but due to recent COVID-19 spikes in Nevada and surrounding states, the league is now considering hosting it’s return in Toronto and Edmonton.
