The Eastern Panhandle Entrepreneurs Forum convened Thursday night in Berkeley Springs and held a program geared for small business owners.
Officials with CNB Bank talked about managing cash flow and provided tips on how to collect payments faster. CNB officials say starting a business can be difficult at first and say it’s very important for entrepreneurs to know how to handle their cash flow.
“When an entrepreneur gets started, and maybe receives a big contract, cash flow can be strained. And so managing it properly is one of the most important things a small business can do as it grows to make sure it remains profitable,” Joshua Householder, Chief Banking Officer with CNB Bank.
The Eastern Panhandle Entrepreneurs Forum meets quarterly.
