Jefferson County man admits to robbing Charles Town bank

A Jefferson County man admitted to robbing a bank.

According to the United States Attorney’s Office, 26-year-old Ryan Stepanian of Charles Town pleaded guilty to one count of “bank robbery.” Officials say Stepanian admitted to stealing nearly $15,000 from the City National Bank in Charles Town on January 22, 2018.

He faces jail time of up to 20 years and a fine of up to $250,000.
