Wine lovers went out to Martinsburg over the weekend to celebrate the 2019 Wine Fest. The event takes place every Memorial Day weekend. People and vendors from all around the tri-state area attend the event, tasting homemade brews. There were many kinds of wine from red to white.
There was also live music, food and games. This year, Main Street Martinsburg took over the festival, and they explain the experience.
“We tried to do it a little different than years past, a lot of West Virginia vineyards and winery’s here, plus we have a tent that offers some local wine from West Virginia and California and some other wines, plus a nice beer garden with over a dozen craft beers,” P.J. Orsini said, the chairman for Wine Fest.
This isn’t the only large event to be hosted, Main Street Martinsburg says there are more events coming up.
