One person hospitalized after Tuesday D.C. fire

WASHINGTON (WDVM) — D.C. Fire and EMS responded to a fire on Tuesday afternoon in the 900 block of M Street Northwest. One person was sent to the hospital in a serious but non-life-threatening condition.

Responders said that “heavy smoke” was showing from the rooftop of a row house before they responded and got the fire under control.

Fire and EMS said that there were no other displacements.
