Washington County deputies investigating after pulling body from Potomac River

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a Hagerstown man, whose body was found in the Potomac River.
Deputies responded to the Cushwa Basin in Williamsport around 4 p.m. on Monday, after two kayakers found the man as they entered Conococheague Creek from the Potomac.
He has been identified as Charles Bradshaw, IV, 37. His body was sent to the Office of the Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy.
“At this point, we’re not suspecting foul play is involved,” said Carly Hose, master public information officer at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. “But like with any death, we do investigate to make sure that we cover all angles and are able to figure out what happened.”
Authorities said the results of Bradshaw’s autopsy could take several weeks.
