A West Virginia senator is speaking out against President Donald Trump’s budget proposal for 2018.
Senator Joe Manchin said the budget falls short on fixing many of the country’s needs, especially in West Virginia.
The proposed budget would cut more than $250 billion in spending, including the war against opioids, Medicaid, education and Chesapeake Bay programs to name a few.
The senator said those cuts will negatively impact the residents of the Four-State region.
