With help of police helicopters, a man was arrested for robbing a Wells Fargo bank

Just before noon on November 13, 60-year-old Christopher Warren Lapp of Great Falls held a Wells Fargo bank teller at gunpoint.

After receiving the money, he followed a customer through the parking lot and demanded her car keys. The woman’s car was found abandoned shortly after.

The Fairfax SWAT team, robbery detectives, patrol officers and park police helicopters were able to locate Lapp. He has been charged with armed robbery, carjacking and two counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
