Update: Federal lawsuit against Gore Fire Company

Virginia

We have an update on the $1.3 million dollar federal lawsuit against the Gore Fire Company that arose when one of their ambulances, driven by the fire company president, pulled into a busy route 50 in Frederick County, Virginia.

Lawyers for the fire company filed a motion for summary judgment, which, if successful would terminate the case early.

Beau Correll, the personal injury lawyer for Davis, is hopeful that the judge will deny the motion and allow the case to be heard by a federal jury.

“At this point our side has produced four witnesses that saw the collision and they knew it was unavoidable. What’d they say? The lights and sirens of the ambulance were not on,” said Beau Correll, Attorney, Correll Law Firm, PLC.

The motion is scheduled for April 5th.

Correll is handling the matter along with the Grenier Law group.

We did reach out to Gore Fire company’s attorney and did not receive the e-mail they said they’d send for comment.
