On Monday, two wanted suspects led a high-speed chase in Stephens City, Va.
The suspects drove northbound on Aylor Road as the passenger threw objects out of the car at the deputy behind him. Once the road hit a dead end, the suspects fled the car and ran. The driver of the car was arrested on Monday at the end of the chase, while the passenger fled the scene and was picked up early Tuesday at a relatives home.
“A non-lethal use of taser was deployed and the female was taken into custody without further incident. The male, however, was able to elude capture yesterday, K-9 came out and attempted to track in a wooded area,” said Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Gosnell.
The female driver faces several charges including an outstanding warrant for manufacturing a controlled substance. The male passenger was charged with felony assault, obstruction, and an outstanding strangulation charge.
