Two Manassas teens arrested on gang-related abduction charges

Two Manassas teens have been arrested in relation to a gang-related abduction that took place last spring.

Last week, detectives with the Northern Virginia Regional Gang Task Force concluded their investigation into a gang-related abduction that occurred near the Manassas mall in May.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, a 17-year-old was riding his bicycle in the area, when a car, full of several acquaintances pulled up. They got out of the car and surrounded the teen. One brandished a handgun and threatened him. They prevented him from leaving, before eventually driving away.

Detectives identified three of the suspects as members of MS-13. Two of the suspects were arrested this October. Kevin Duran Reyes, 18, and another 18-year-old who is being charged as a minor, as he was 17 at the time the alleged crime took place. Attempts to locate a third suspect, a 15-year-old, continue.
