Proceeds from the concert will go to the Winchester Education Foundation, which funds many programs for Winchester Public Schools.

They expected to make $20,000 from the concert.

“I certainly hope that everyone out there understand the significance of public education adn the need to support public education now more than ever. With the school violence challenges, we need to step up and support our young people,” said Russ Putts, Executive Director, Winchester Education Foundation.

The education foundation also announced a $1M donation from the Emily and Grace Shihadeh family for the Career and Technical Education Center.
