The Amazon Effect on real estate in Northern Virginia

As Amazon HQ2 becomes a reality for people of Northern Virginia, residents are beginning to ask questions as to what does that mean for their property value.

Debbie Dogrul Associates of Long and Foster real estate is offering seminars to discuss what the Amazon effect means for homeowners in the area.
The seminar is offered to all people, but mainly people who are looking to sell within the next year or so.
The seminar showed people what the real estate market is doing right now as well as the different ways Amazon could continue to impact home values.

“We talked about the job growth about what that might do for the house values in that area and where we see the Amazon workers going and we know that right around national landing within about a mile or two, if it’s modeled the same way that happened in Seattle. A lot of the workers will end up relocating to that area,” said Jay D’Alessandro, managing partner at Debbie Dogrul Associates of Long and Foster.

Debbie Dogrul Associates of Long and Foster real estate will be offering another seminar on March 9th to give sellers some perspective and tips as they go through the selling process.
