Artists have come together to showcase their work in a sustainable art show.
Sustainability Matters will be hosting “Fiesta in the Garden” at the Barns of Rose Hill on Sunday from 1-4PM. They will be sharing their first sustainable art exhibit along with a sustainable gardening workshop.
“Artists in this show have used a lot of repurposed materials to do their own take on the beauty of nature, on unusual aspects of nature,” said Sari Carp of Sustainability Matters.
Visitors can learn about pollinators and how to improve the quality of their soil while enjoying the beauty of natural art created by local talent.
“It’s mostly fiber arts and there’s also some wooden bowls, wooden sculpture and they’re all very much rooted in nature,” said Barns of Rose Hill program coordinator Morgan Morrison.
The event will also have a kids portion with sustainably friendly games.
