The new Lake Manassas Health and Rehabilitation Center is now open, featuring an innovative design that revolutionizes rehabilitation recovery for patients in Gainesville and its surrounding communities.
Officials said the project represents a $22 million investment and will offer 120 new jobs through the creation of new services.
Some of those services they said are out of this world, including the first-of-its-kind in the area: the “Alter-G” treadmill.
“It is not typical to have this state of the art equipment here at a skilled-nursing facility. We have a lot of pieces here in our gym that are typically utilized by professional athletes. So, we are very fortunate to be able to have that technology here to facilitate care for our patients and to get them up and moving,” said Bethany Chandonais, Director of Rehab, Lake Manassas Health and Rehabilitation Center.
“It really is more about the patient experience and the culture of caring in this environment. A beautiful new facility means a lot, and it is state of the art,” said Mandy Gannon, Administrator, Lake Manassas Health and Rehabilitation Center.
