Police: Woodbridge man hit, choked woman in moving car

A Woodbridge, Virginia man is facing multiple charges, including malicious wounding, and strangulation, after police say he hit a woman in the face, and choked her inside a moving car.

Police responded to the incident around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. They were called to the intersection of Summerland Drive and Horner Road in Woodbridge.

Police say a 25-year-old woman, and her acquaintance, Collin Frazer, were driving home when a verbal altercation escalated physically. Frazer allegedly hit the woman in the face, before choking her.

The woman was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. Frazer is being held without bond, and is also facing a possession of marijuana charge.
