Pixar Animation Studios payed a visit to Clarke County High School for their 6th annual STEM festival.
There were several stations with hands-on science, technology, engineering and math activities for all ages. The special guest from Pixar came all the way from California to talk about the magic found by combining art and tech through coding, math and science. Awarding winning films like WALL-E and Coco were used as examples.
“I love sharing that with kids and getting them sort of excited about stem. And understanding that it’s more than just your homework that you have to do when you go home. You can create all kinds of awesome things with it, including art,” said Danielle Feinberg of Pixar Animation Studios.
The event also gave students the chance to show off their robots and other stem projects that they’ve been working on.
