A two-car crash in Manassas left one man dead on Wednesday night.
It happened around 9:30 at the intersection of Sudley Manor Drive and Seymour Road. An investigation revealed that the driver of a 2014 Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Seymour Road as a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on Sudley Manor Drive. The driver of Corolla entered the intersection attempting to turn left. As the Toyota Corolla entered the intersection, it was hit by the Chevrolet Silverado. The driver of the Corolla, identified as Jingxu Zhou, was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
“One of the vehicles had a child inside a 3 year-old who was in the back seat, the occupants of that vehicle reported minor injuries. It was the vehicle of the other driver who was deceased,” Sgt. Jonathan Perok, spokesperson for the Prince William County Police Department said.
