Officials seeking person of interest in Belle Haven hotel fire

Fire investigators are asking for public’s help identifying a person of interest in a hotel fire that happened on Monday. 

The person of interest is described as a male, between 5’8″ and 5’10” and about 220-225 lbs. Fire investigators would like to speak with him regarding their investigation. 


It was 11:05 a.m. when Fairfax County Fire and Rescue units responded for reports of a building fire in the 6000 block of Richmond Highway in the Belle Haven area. Officials say there were approximately 40 people in the hotel at the time of the fire, but no one was injured.
