A new Tesla Supercharger is open in Strasburg, Virginia.
The charging station is located directly behind Denny’s right off of Route 11. This is the 13th Supercharger to come to Virginia. Strasburg is leading the way and opened its station before D.C. Metro areas such as Arlington, Fairfax and Tysons, who Tesla says will have superchargers coming soon. There are six available drive-in bays that are easily accessible.
“This is a super station and it takes less than an hour to charge my car. All of the other stations take at least five to six hours and I don’t have that convenience at work. My work is 20 minutes from here so I just drive 20 minutes, get a full charge and then head back home,” said Tesla owner Lina Qazi.
Lina says she’s been seeing a lot more Tesla’s on the road recently even in rural towns like Strasburg.
