Motorcyclist dies after bike hits cement wall on I-395 in Arlington

A motorcyclist has died after police say he left the roadway and hit a cement wall. 

The crash happened on I-395 in Arlington at around 2 Tuesday morning. Based on witness accounts, police say, a motorcycle was traveling northbound on I-395 at high speeds when it left the side of the highway and hit a cement wall.

The motorcycle then crossed over all northbound lanes of the interstate and continued off the highway. The bike hit a guardrail and the driver was ejected. The impact of the crash caused the bike to catch on fire.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
