More arrests made in Clarke County robbery

The investigation into a Clarke County robbery that occurred on November 7 continues with more arrests being made.

Victor Hernandez, 18, Pablo Rosendo Melchor, 27, Christopher Alexander Valeriano, 19, and a juvenile have been arrested and charged for their involvement in robbing two victims earlier this month.

According to officials, a caller reported that they witnessed several individuals in a black vehicle arrive at a residence on Summit Point Road, Berryville. The individuals exited the vehicle with a pistol, and robbed a person in the driveway.

An hour after the report came in, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office made a stop on the vehicle involved. 

“All the suspects right now are facing two counts of robbery their both felonies. They’re also facing a charge of possession of firearm in commission of a felony, and a couple of the suspects are chasing charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute,”  said Travis M. Sumption of Clarke County Sheriff’s Office.

It was determined that the victim was in possession of cocaine and a large sum of currency. The victim was arrested for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.
