Meth lab found in Shenandoah County

No threat was posed to the other residents in the apartment building

EDINBURG, Va. - A Shenandoah County man remains in jail after being accused of running a meth lab out of his Edinburg apartment.

According to the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office, Dillon Grandstaff was charged with one count of manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of two or more of the precursors with the intent to make meth and brandishing a firearm.

Investigators say that they seized some of the items from the residence on Polk Road. They believe that the suspected meth lab posed no threat to the other residents of the apartment building. He is being held without bail at Rappahannock-Shenandoah-Warren Regional Jail until his next court appearance.
