A Manassas man was arrested Thursday night in New York for allegedly sexually assaulting a Loudoun County woman last month.
According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect Sunil Nasim, 47, first met the woman when he delivered food to her home around noon. Later that day, he called her and said he had more food he would deliver to her home. The sheriff’s office said the suspect groped and sexually assaulted the woman during the second food delivery, which was later reported to law enforcement.
New York State Police found Nasim on June 6. He is held in a New York jail, pending extradition to Virginia.
The case was investigated by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit.
