Man arrested in knife attack


Winchester Police have made an arrest in a knife attack last week.

Jason Egan, 39 was arrested for allegedly slashing a 54-year-old man during an argument.

On April 21 just before 2 p.m., the victim and Egan, of the 500 block of Gray Avenue, reportedly got into a fight on South Kent Street, near the Community Congregational Action Program and the Citgo gas station.

According to police, the victim, Egan, and a third man were allegedly shouting at each other from across the street, before Egan crossed the street and assaulted the victim.
