Man arrested for forcible sodomy against 16-year-old

Virginia

On April 3, a 16-year-old girl woke to a 19-year-old man sexually assaulting her at his party.

Prince William County police report Horling Mauricio Torres Guevara of Woodbridge has been charged with forcible sodomy and distribution of drugs to minors.

Police report the victim had ditched school for the suspect’s party. Torres Guevara was arrested on April 30.

The victim reportedly became disoriented after Torres Guevara gave her and a friend, who is also a minor, alcohol and drugs. The victim fell asleep and woke to the accused assaulting her. Both juveniles left and reported the incident to police.

“[Sexual assault] investigations can take time,” said Sergeant Jonathan Perok of the Prince William County Police Department. “This one was a little quicker than some, probably because we knew the parties involved and we were able to make a quick arrest because it was reported to us rather quickly.”

Police say the victim and perpetrator knew one another before the incident. Torres Guevara is being held without bond.
