An Alexandria man is facing charges after he was caught recording a girl inside a Fair Oaks Mall dressing room.
Police say 39-year old Mumtaz Rauf has been charged with unlawful filming of a minor.
On Monday around 4 p.m., officers were called to the Forever 21 in Fair Oaks Mall. A teenage girl reported that she saw a black device on the wall of her dressing room.
Police located a man, later identified as Rauf, who fit the description of the suspect in the fitting room inside H&M.
When he was arrested he had a pinhole camera, black tape and a battery powered Bluetooth transmitter they believe was being used to remotely gather video and pictures from multiple fitting rooms. Officers believe there may be additional victims.
