A man accused of killing a 4-year old girl in a 2016 car crash is pleading not guilty to counts of involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license.

Police say in October 2016, Greg Peters was driving on I-81 south near Woodstock when he rear-ended a car killing a toddler sitting in the back seat. Both the driver and passenger of the car, who are also the parents of the child were taken to the hospital. They filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Peters and won in 2017.

Peters is now scheduled for trial for the criminal charges on March 27th.
