Loudoun County Public Schools teacher arrested for inappropriate relationship with student

A Loudoun County Public Schools teacher has been charged after allegedly participating in an inappropriate relationship with a child that caused or created a mental injury.

Deputies say Lindsay Mages, 28 of Aldie, was at times responsible for the student outside of school. Mages allegedly had a non-sexual relationship with the victim between January 1, 2018 and August 30, 2018 that resulted in a mental injury.

Mages was a teacher at Discovery Elementary and Hillside Elementary schools. She is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
