LCSO warning residents to lock car doors after a series of weekend larcenies

Virginia

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents to lock their car doors, after a series of larcenies from vehicles this weekend.

The Sheriff’s office is asking residents to lock car doors, and to never leave any items of value inside a vehicle.

Though some criminals may force entry into a vehicle, the sheriff’s office says more often than not, thieves are seeking opportunities for easy access, such as open windows or garages.
