Arlington County will receive yet another influx of job openings following Governor Ralph Northam’s announcement of a company expansion in Crystal City.
On Tuesday, Northam announced that Incentive Technology Group will invest $5.1 million to relocate and expand its headquarters in Arlington County. In exchange for incentives, officials say the fast-growing information and technology consulting firm will create more than 128 new jobs as early as 2019 and over 1,000 new high-paying jobs over the next 3 years.
“I believe iTG is part of a trend in our market right now…heavy commercialization, companies not just looking at government as contract opportunities but also looking in the commercial market. iTG is actually a combination of both,” Victor Hoskins, Director of Arlington Economic Development said.
The office will include a new iTG design and innovation center, where clients, architects, and consultants will collaborate to develop leading-edge solutions to complex business problems.
