WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Prince William County Police are investigating a homicide in Woodbridge that occurred on July 25.
Police say they responded to a residence located on Arizona Avenue around 10:30 p.m. to investigate a shooting. Officers arrived and located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the identity of the victim will be released once confirmed and a family member has been notified.
"There were other occupants and residents there. We are continuing our investigation interviewing them. As of right now, no suspect has been identified at this point but we are continuing our investigation into the matter," said officer Jonathan Perok.
Police say they do not believe this is a random shooting.
