The Harlem Globetrotters was quite a popular basketball team in the 70’s and 80’s and they are still filling up stadiums in 2018.

“I’ll tell you what. It’s coming on to our ninety third year. It’s been such an honor and blessing. You know so many great players came before us and we’re just trying to keep that tradition alive,” said Scooter, Harlem Globetrotters player.

Fans are welcome to get one-on-one time with the players before the game and learn some of their basketball tricks.

“We’ll play anywhere there’s a great venue and a great audience. We understand there’s a lot of fans here in Shenandoah so that’s why we’re here,” said Howard Smith, Harlem Globetrotters president.

The Globetrotters say that no matter what country or city they go to, they’re always the home team.
