Former Fairfax caregiver arrested in California for possession of child porn

A former caregiver in Fairfax County has been arrested in California for possession of child pornography.

Brandon Genest, who was a local child care provider, was arrested in Walnut Creek on June 4th for two counts of lewd acts with a child, three counts of indecent exposure and possession of child pornography.

While living in Fairfax County, Genest marketed himself as a child care provider on social media. Fairfax County Police say they do not have any active cases against him right now, however, anyone who believes he may have had inappropriate encounters with their child is asked to contact police at 703-246-7800.
