Ex-youth pastor pleads guilty in second child sexual abuse case

Virginia

A former youth worship leader at a Virginia church has pleaded guilty to two more counts of indecent liberties of a minor. The man has already been convicted of sexually abusing a different teen girl

27-year-old Jordan Baird of Warrenton, Virginia pleaded guilty to two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child in Prince William County Circuit Court Monday. He faces up to five years in prison on each count, when sentenced in May.

Baird has already been sentenced to five months in jail, for five counts of taking indecent liberties with another teen. Both girls were members of his church.

The incidents took place at Life Church’s Manassas location, where Baird served as a youth worship leader and music teacher. His father, David, is the church’s pastor.
