Fairfax County police reported Thursday that on April 18, police arrested Steven Rossi of Reston for possessing child pornography.
Rossi posted bail on May 2.
“What I have heard from our detectives is that the images were alarming,” said Lieutenant Rex Pagerie of the Major Crimes Bureau. “This is something they see every day…and they are exposed to terrible things.”
Pagerie says Rossi has performed at many commercial outlets in Northern Virginia. The investigation began when the Child Exploitation Unit received a “cyber tip” from an internet provider that child pornography was being transmitted over the internet.
Police recovered over 50 images.
