Child rapist sentenced to 25 years in prison

Virginia

A registered sex offender has been sentenced for sexually assaulting another child.

Justice Henry, 39, of Front Royal, Virginia, will serve 25 years in prison for raping a 10-year-old girl on October 19, 2017.

Henry was initially sentenced to 99 years in prison but took a plea deal in which 74 years were suspended. As part of the deal, the charge of rape was dropped.

According to Front Royal Police officers, Henry took the child behind a Motel 6 and assaulted her, before bringing her to a wooded area behind a LoanMax and raping her.

Henry was initially charged with aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration and forcible sodomy, all three involving a child under the age of 13, as well as one count of taking indecent liberties with a minor.

Henry, who was convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl back in 1998 in Mississippi, will be placed on supervised probation for 50 years after his release. Henry is also not allowed to have any contact with children.
