Chasing Light art exhibit brings unique twist to Manassas One Love festival

Virginia

It’s the second year the city of Manassas is throwing their One Love festival to show off art the city has to offer.

This year they are showing off a new piece of art, which is their main event. The piece is a 3D music and light exhibit that was crafted by two artists from Dallas, Texas. The piece is called “The Chasing Light” exhibit. It is a multifaceted piece including music and projected visuals and it’s going to be displayed on the lawn of the Manassas Museum for everyone to see. It will allow everyone to get involved.

“I created it for public art events so people from the community can come and take part in the festival and we’ve released the music ahead of time online,” said Carmen Menza, creator of art exhibit.

The Chasing Light installation has been made possible with a grant from the Virginia Commission of the Arts.
