The Belle Grove plantation is preparing for the its ‘Art at Belle Grove’ show and sale.
Representatives have worked with three local artists to have their work displayed throughout the plantation’s historic manor house.
Artist Wayne Laws, Sally Veach, and Kelly Walker’s work will be showcased until Sunday June 24. Art show attendees may see familiar scenes in the paintings as the artist featured all draw inspiration from the sights in and around the Shenandoah valley.
“I take a lot of photographs and work from those, so what I see around the landscape, and I’ll be traveling down one of the routes and I’ll pull over on the side of the rode when I see something that interest me.” Wayne Laws says.
During the exhibit there will be several ways for visitors to interact with the artists including art classes, and meet and greet sessions.
