Beeping Easter eggs for children with visual impairments

We’re exactly one month out from Easter, meaning you may soon hear Easter eggs made by your local bomb technicians.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Members of the Loudoun County Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, joined their counterparts from the British and Australian armies, as well as other federal, state and local partners for the 3rd annual Dager Technology & International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators Beeping Egg Charity Event.

The bomb technicians spent hours using their skills to build 350 special beeping eggs, that will enable visually impaired and or blind students, to participate in egg hunts.

The eggs are distributed to regional schools.
