UPDATE: Police have opened King Street and retrieved the package. They say there was no danger to the public.
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WDVM) — Alexandria Police said they have closed King Street between Callahan Drive and Dangerfield Road as they help Amtrack investigate a suspicious package on train tracks.
Police say they will provide updates on the closure on their twitter.
